Adult Education

Goals of the Adult Educational Program:

  • to provide opportunities for people to participate in lifelong learning about Chrisitan faith
  • to develop our understanding of God’s working in the world
  • to come together as a community of Christians
  • to deepen our understanding of the faith journey we are on individually and collectively

NEW: Adult Education programming through "The Thoughtful Christian"

Are you up for wrestling with the questions that inform the way we live out our faith in everyday life? Jesus called us to love God with our minds, as well as our hearts and souls. This, he said, is the greatest commandment. "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind" (Matthew 22:37 NRSV).

"The Thoughtful Christian," Christian education materials published by Westminster John Knox Press, provides a variety of adult education materials that focus on a variety of biblical and contemporary issues--even events happening in current news.
